Clanadonia

Clanadonia have spent more than two decades taking a distinctly unconventional approach to Scottish pipes and drums. Combining traditional instrumentation with tribal rhythms and a stripped-back, percussive sound, the Glasgow group have built an international following while remaining firmly connected to their Scottish roots. Their live history stretches from street performances to festivals and major sporting events, including an appearance in front of 69,000 people at Murrayfield and opening the Main Stage at T in the Park. Visually distinctive and difficult to categorise, Clanadonia occupy their own space between Scottish folk tradition, contemporary Celtic music and something altogether more primal.
