Grayling

Glasgow-based Grayling moves between indie-folk, Americana and country, pairing intimate songwriting with warm melodies and richly textured arrangements. The project’s 2024 EP Cardinal Fire built on the foundations of debut Greenhouse, bringing pedal steel and shades of ’70s Americana into songs characterised by reflection and quiet confidence. Grayling’s understated approach has earned support from BBC Radio Scotland, alongside appearances at Wide Days and Country to Country and shows with artists including The Heavy Heavy and Sarah Klang. With a growing body of work that rewards a closer listen, Grayling arrives at Summer’s End Angus as one of Scotland’s emerging names to discover in 2027.
