QFX

QFX came out of Scotland’s ’90s rave scene with a high-energy mix of techno, dance and happy hardcore that quickly found its way from clubs into the charts. Tracks including Freedom, Everytime You Touch Me and their take on Children of the Night became favourites of a generation raised on pounding beats, euphoric synths and very late nights. More than three decades on, QFX remain a fixture of Scotland’s dance scene, with those records still finding willing crowds whenever they’re played. Fast, unapologetically euphoric and designed for dancing – this is the kind of set where standing quietly at the back probably isn’t an option.
